We’re so excited! The second annual Visit Your Local Quilt Shop Day is Saturday, January 25, 2014! This is such a great way to recognize our local, independent quilt and fabric shops around the world. Would you help us spread the word? Between Dec. 26 and Saturday, January 25, 2014 shoppers are visiting participating quilt shops, taking a picture of themselves in the shop, adding a caption answering the question why this is their favorite shop and uploading their photo to http://www.quiltshopday.com for a chance to win a $100 shopping spree in that favorite shop! They can vote on the website, once a day during a six day period following Jan. 25. Winners will be selected in early February. Here are three photos of one of my favorite quilt shops, the City Quilter in NYC! I just love it when I am browsing around a shop and I find my templates, patterns and book! I will be going there today, then going to see Wicked on Broadway. Maybe we will even get stranded in the city for an extra day, with this big storm on the way.
