I am so excited to be back from Quilt Festival in Houston. It was great to see all the fabulous quilts by the world’s best quilt makers. Many of the winners at Houston were from the USA and Japan, but I also met quilters from Brasil, Australia, Wales, Finland and so many more countries! Quilting has taken over worldwide.
I am so inspired by the many techniques being included in today’s quilts. Not only were traditional applique and piecing represented, but many machine applique, machine quilted, and painted quilts were among the most beautiful at the show.
