Kaffe Fassett Flannel Design Board – 3/4 yard cut
Kaffe has designed this flannel fabric to make design walls. Sue will lead a free mini-workshop for Ahead of the Curve members to cover rigid foam insulation with the gridded flannel fabric making a 24″ square design board. Watch the “Ahead of the Curve” membership FaceBook group for details on the mini-workshop.
This is a great size design board for making block based quilts or projects like My Magical Garden or pillow tops. Quilters who enjoy designing their own blocks will enjoy having this small, portable design board.
You will need a 2×2 insulated board from Lowes or Home depot. You will find these precut foam panels that are approximately 1 1/2″ or 2″ thick. You will also need 3/4 yard of flannel and a roll of duct tape to create your own flannel design board.
