Cherrywood Leaves, Block-A-Day Temperature Quilt
The Cherrywood Leaves Block-A-Day Temperature Quilt was created for a Live course in 2022. The pattern for three sizes of the quilt, plus Quilt-As-You-Go instructions are included in this course. The temperature quilt can be used for any year, so pick your favorite year (this year, your birth year, or the year you got married?), follow the instructions in the course for finding the high and low temperature of the day from current data or historical data.
When you sign up for this course, you will work through each quarterly session with PDF written instructions as well as the video instructions recorded in 2022 and 2023.
Quilt As You Go:
This project can be quilted in “seasons” if you want to quilt it yourself on a domestic sewing machine. The second Quarterly Session will help you get your winter season (January, February and March) pieced and ready for quilting. By summer will have you quilting the spring season, the applique rows you just finished. In October, you can start to assemble two quilted “seasons” together using a unique method from Pauline’s Quilter’s World in Australia.
The last quarterly session will demonstrate a novel way to quilt any size border and add it to your QAYG quilt center.
Join the fun and make a Temperature Quilt this year!
