Since it is Christmas time, I want to share this pretty quilt with you! One time at Quilt Festival in Houston, I spotted an antique quilt that I really, really wanted to buy. There was no way I could justify buying this antique quilt so I decided to make one for myself. When I got back home I sketched the block design then made my own quilt in traditional Christmas colors that I called “Star of Wonder”. After making that bed-sized quilt, I made a more modern version with Kaffe fabrics as a lap or wall quilt. So here it is, the Star Struck Pattern for making both quilt sizes. This pattern uses only the Grande Leaves Galore template. You can find this and many other patterns for using the Leaves Galore templates at suepellanddesigns.com. On my website you will also be able to view my videos that teach you how to make the leaf shape on this quilt twelve at a time by cutting with your rotary cutter. The Leaves Galore Template makes quick work of this beautiful fusible applique quilt. Can’t you picture it on your bed, or over the back of your couch for next Christmas?
