Quilt As You Go
Do you hate giving up artistic control of your quilts, or do you simply want to make your quilts by yourself from start to glorious finish?
You'll love this simple "Quilt as You Go" technique from Pauline's Quilter's World in Australia.
Forget wrangling a big quilt through a little sewing machine! This unique QAYG method lets you confidently quilt your own quilts in sections, then easily join them together with invisible seams. Use any domestic sewing machine for walking foot quilting and free motion quilting! Both methods will be covered in the quarterly video tutorials.
Nothing looks quite like a Cherrywood quilt!
Karla and Sue curated a selection of Hand-Dyed Cherrywood fabrics in 22 muted rainbow colors. The hand-dyed fabrics look like suede!
Each quilter will create a color chart using 22 colors to represent the temperature range for their climate. Then the fun begins as we document each day's highs and lows in one simple block each day.
The kit that I curated with Cherrywood Fabrics is still available from Cherrywood. However, you can also choose your own fabrics, or work from your stash. A detailed color chart is included.
Encouragement and Motivation are my Specialties!
Let me be your guide through the "Highs and Lows" of the year!
As a seasoned teacher I have 30 years of experience helping quilters fall in love with applique. Attention to detail through every phase of the project from cutting to quilting will make you an exceptional quilt maker.

Quilters Love Sue Pelland's Techniques
"I highly recommend Sue's courses!"
Gradations was my first attempt at making an appliqué quilt. Sue’s detailed, specific instructions and engaging teaching manner and presence instilled so much confidence that I was able to make her quilt with little difficulty. In addition, Sue’s rulers are sensational for ease and speed of cutting. I also used them to create quilt patterns with my walking foot. I highly recommend Sue's courses! She is the best!!!
