Here is part two of the Leaves Galore Video. This edition will help you cut those "S" shaped and "Z" shaped curves featured in the Christmas Ribbons pattern. Just because Christmas day is over, don't fret! The Christmas ribbons pattern looks wonderful in other colors as well. I have a beautiful pink quilt at the end of the video that would make a wonderful baby quilt, and my friend Susan Arena made this quilt in greens and gold with a sunflower theme. I will upload a photo of the sunflower quilt for all of you to see, it is a beauty!

I was thrilled to meet so many wonderful people in Houston at Quilt Festival. It is nice to get a first hand look at the many products available to quilters and talk to the people who created them. I have discovered one new tool that is a wonderful addition to my shop! TrueGrips by the Grace Company are exactly what I was hoping for when looking for a non-slip product to add to my Leaves Galore Templates.

Thanks to Jeff Lomicka, professional quilt photographer, I have some beautiful new photos of my quilts! The primary reason I went to see Jeff was to get photos for my latest pattern, Christmas Ribbons. This pattern teaches three new techniques using the Leaves Galore Templates. The Ribbon border, half tone leaves and poinsettia flowers are all cut with the Grande Leaves Galore Template.

It has been en exciting month here at Sue Pelland Designs! I am working with a few new distributors, so watch for Leaves Galore in your mailbox catalogs soon... Meanwhile, we have been to another wonderful show in Manchester, NH. At Mancuso, my niece Candice, my daughter Lauren and my Mom, Elaine helped me run the booth. What fun to work with three of my favorite people!! After 4 days of demos, I ended up with piles of leaves...you might say, we cut Leaves Galore!! What to do with all these beautiful leaves...
