Pantone color of the year, Day 10 of the December Blog Challenge

"We are living in a time that requires inventiveness and imagination."

Do you like how my block of the month contains the Pantone Color of the year? Makes me feel "in the know".  But I had no idea, I just picked these colors because I like them!

But reading the inspiration for the Color of the Year, it describes my Block Of the Month wonderfully!  This quote sums up my goals and my aspirations!  By using my "inventiveness and imagination" I hope to bring you a program that inspires you, helps you express yourself artistically and "lights the way to what is yet to come".  I want to give you the creative tools to make any applique quilt that is yet to come in your creative time.  By showing you all the capabilities of the tools I have designed, I hope to unleash your creativity and help you explore the designer in you.

So think about joining me in the Quilt-Along that starts in March, where I will walk you through one month at a time for nine months to make a beautiful applique quilt.  Registration will begin in January, so keep your eye on my blog, my newsletter and of course on Facebook!

And for those of you following the 31 day blog challenge, OOPS!  I missed a day!  Yesterday I was designing the border for this BOM quilt and I completely forgot to blog.  So to make up for that, here is a sneak peek at what I was working on.  I hope you like it!
