Welcome to summer in Massachusetts! The Fourth of July forecast is a week of 90 degree weather, and I am ready to break out the bathing suit and enjoy summer!
Hi Quilters! This is Penny Bentley, I work with Sue as her Event Coordinator. I would like to share that I have been blessed and fortunate to share in Sue's successes with her expanding quilting business. Sue is an extremely creative and professional businesswoman who has Donna, Joanne, and I to assist her along the way, but, of course, it is her business sense and practices that has brought her to this time and place.
Last November, I was able to spend some time with Rosa Rojas at the Pinwheels Quilt Show in Sturbridge, MA. Rosa is a native of Spain, but travels frequently to the US, Mexico and France to promote her Apliquick techniques and products.
Who else is going to AQS Quilt Week in Syracuse? Joanne and I will be in booth # 1821 with all our Sue Pelland Designs products. We do demos all day long so stop by and learn about the Leaves Galore and Hearts and More templates. Even if you’ve seen our demos before, we are always adding new tips and techniques to our talk so it is worth a stop.
The new website is online today, my new book has arrived and we are heading to Paducah in the wee hours of the morning. With so much going on, there are bound to be a few snags. Please be patient this week as we get out all the book orders and break in our new shop.
Sue and Joanne are currently in Santa Clara California for the start of the Pacific International Quilt Festival. Visit us in booth 1125 for a demonstration of Mistyfuse and Sue's templates for Rotary Cut Appliqué. The show is from 10-6 Thursday thru Saturday and Sunday 10-5.
The Rivers Edge Convention Center was home to this years Minnesota Quilters Guild show. This magnificent quilt show is run primarily by volunteers, and is one of the best independent shows in the country. Thanks to AnnMarie Yohnk, the faculty coordinator for the show, I was asked to lecture and teach.
