Extroverts are always ready to try something new, they make friends easily, and are very optimistic. Extroverts love working in groups and do their best work while collaborating! When extroverts face a challenge, they seek out a group of friends who will talk it out. They express themselves easily and are uplifted by big groups of people. If extraverts spend too much time alone, they may feel cranky or out of sorts.
You may be an Extrovert quilter if you love Quilt Retreats, you belong to at least one quilt guild, and you love taking workshops at quilt shows!
Introvert are happy to be along, but enjoy being with a small group of special friends. They are often great listeners, they consider things carefully, and avoid conflict. Introverts use their imagination to think through challenges and come up with creative solutions all on their own. When they face challenges in life, they tend to dive inside their own little nest and surround themselves with things that feed their soul. Reading, gardening, quilting…things they can do alone to rest. relax and recharge.
You may be an introvert quilter if you spend long hours in your sewing room in complete silence, or listening to an audiobook! You dive into quilting books and magazines, and spend much of your time planning your next quilt.
If you have a hard time fitting into category, you are probably an “Ambivert.”
If you do not fall on one end of the spectrum or the other, you may be an Ambivert. Being an Ambivert means you exhibit traits of both extroverts and introverts. Do you enjoy social settings and being alone? Ambiverts are often good at engaging with both introverts and extroverts and drawing people together. Are you an active listener? Ambiverts help others solve problems by listening, asking thoughtful questions, and offering creative solutions.
