Today is the first day of the 31 day Blog Post Writing Challenge. I have just signed up to be part of the challenge, at 11:23 EST on the first day of the challenge! So my goal today is to get this first post up by midnight…and the clock is counting down.
Over the next 31 days, my hope is to get in Blog Writing Mode which means a habit of writing a regular blog, not just one a month, or every other month! I can do this people, but I won’t be able to keep up my enthusiasm unless I know you are reading. So please leave me a comment, give me some encouragement and follow along as I slay this challenge!
What do I hope to accomplish with my blog? I want to give my readers helpful tips, encourage quilters on their own journey and share some of my quilting story. Along the way, I hope to inspire you to try new things and to get more comfortable with your creativity.
Today was a great quilting day! I went to the open house at Quilted Crow in Bolton MA, where I saw my good friend and fellow guild member Sherri Noel. Sherri was there showing off her wonderful patterns and Blocks of the Month quilts. You can find more of Sherri’s work online at www.rebeccamaedesigns.com. If you are in the Bolton area tomorrow, stop by the Quilted Crow, meet Sherri and see the beautiful Raffle Quilt she designed for the Thimble Pleasures Quilt Guild! While you are there you can buy a ticket and support our guild!
Day one of the 31 day challenge. BAM! And all before midnight!
