Dear friends, I am so pleased to announce that yesterday was my son Timmy’s three year Cancer-versary. This is a day to celebrate as Timmy is 3 years past diagnosis with Chronic Mylogenous Leukemia, and he is doing extremely well.
I will keep this post short, as I need to get to Timmy’s 2nd baseball game of the season. Three years ago, Timmy missed the the entire baseball season. His spleen was so enlarged, it was dangerous for him to do anything. We were afraid to let him go back to school for fear of rupturing his spleen. WOW have we come a long way!!
In celebration of three years on successful Gleevec treatment, Sue Pelland Designs will be making our first quarterly donation to the Jimmy Fund Clinic in Boston MA. From the docs, to the parking attendants, the staff at the clinic is amazing. They do everything they can do to make our visits to the clinic a positive experience.
